Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme (SHAP) - Revenue for Support Application

Closes 10 Nov 2023

Opened 4 Jan 2023

Overview

Welcome to the revenue for support application portal for the Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme (SHAP).

This is the application form for revenue to deliver support services at SHAP schemes outside of London.

What you will need

This form will ask you to provide:

  • Contact details for you and for anyone we should include in correspondence about this application
  • Information about the nature of the support provided by the proposed service
  • Information about how referrals will be made to the service
  • An overview of the proposed staffing structure for the service
  • An annualised funding profile for the service

When to submit your application

Applications should be submitted following a period of coproduction between local authorities, service providers, accommodation providers, Homes England officials and locality advisers from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC). Applications should be reflective of this engagement.

Bids submitted by key cut-off dates in 2023 will be assessed as part of the following assessment cycle. Cut-off dates are listed at the foot of this page, along with target dates for application outcomes to be confirmed. These dates reflect the DLUHC's planned timetable as of January 2023 but are subject to change.

Preparing your application

You can download a template of this form to support drafting and collaboration at the SHAP prospectus and guidance page. This can be used offline. We strongly encourage use of the template to develop the content of your application before transferring information to the online form to complete your submission.

Please note that submission of the online form is required; we cannot accept submission of template forms by post, email or other means.

Completing the form

You do not need to complete the form in a single session; you can save your input by clicking the 'Save and come back later...' button at the foot of each page. When you click this button, you will receive a link by email allowing you to return to the saved form at a later time.

Be advised that input is not automatically saved by clicking 'Continue' at the foot of each page. We therefore recommend saving and returning at intervals, and encourage use of the offline template linked above to develop your application before submission.
