Register to vote screener survey for friends and family
Overview
Thank you for your interest.
We’re Softwire, a non-partisan digital organisation, and we’re working in partnership with the UK government’s Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
We are looking for British citizens who currently live outside of the UK to take part in a trial for changes to the Register to vote service. If selected, your feedback will help to shape the service before it goes public.
About the service
The Register to vote service will allow eligible UK citizens who live overseas to register to vote. This means they will be able to vote in UK Parliament general elections and by-elections.
About the trial
The trial begins on Monday 13 November and continues until Tuesday 19 December 2023.
You can take part in the trial even if you are already registered to vote.
You are receiving this invite via a referral, which means we can’t pay a reward for your participation. Your feedback contributes to an improved service for British citizens living outside the UK.
How do I sign up?
If you are a British citizen living outside of the UK, and you’re interested in participating, fill out our screener survey.
This will take about 5 minutes, and doesn’t commit you to anything. Data that you enter will be held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
If selected, we will email you more details on how to participate.
